Taku YASUI (安井卓)

My name is Taku YASUI, 安井卓 in Japanese. "Taku" is given name and "YASUI" is family name. I was born in Japan in 1977 and live in Yokohama now.

I worked at VA Linux Systems Japan for 7 years from 2001. I'm working at OSDN Corporation since 2007. I'm one of the founder member of Slashdot Japan and SourceForge.JP.

Opensource / Free software activities:

I'm a member of Debian Project official developers. I maintain several packages and write some documents. I'm also a member of Debian JP Project. I'm a server admin member of the project.

I'm interested in Programing Language Ruby very much. I've written several patches about tDiary and Hiki. I also a maintainer of Hiki debian package. You can find the code I've written at Tach Trac, github, SourceForge.JP and some development sites.

Hobbies / Intersts

Futbol / FCBarcelona

My most favorite thing is "futbol". Futbol means football in Spanish. Why did I write it in Spanish? Because I am a "socio" of FC Barcelona and I love their beautiful games. So, I wrote "Futbol" not football. Socio means "a member". FC Barcelona has been managed a lot of members not only one owner. Socio is that, like joint owner. We elect our president by ballot. It's democratic style.
